Gobekli Tepe: interesting how civilization leads to ego( or vice versa?) Pre-historic ancestors viewed themselves as equal, almost inferior to animals and plants, as part of a unity, until civilization takes place ( possessing a house, a wife/husband/children, domesticating animals etc leads to the cultivation of our EGO?)

OUR CONNECTION WITH ANIMALS
I was always surprised to see how ancient religious texts always describe animals as younger or less evolved souls than humans. To me animals are spiritual masters for the very simple reason that they never divorced from God or their true spiritual nature. This dog teaches me in a daily basis how to take care of myself first and never try to please others, how to be true to myself, to be as natural, simple and genuine as God created me.He reminds me what are the -essential- important things, CALMNESS-of the mind and body- LOVE-without caring at all about how you look, your age, gender or social status- NOURISHMENT-of the heart and the body.He is, to me, a true master of life. Non judgmental, always in peace and connected to himself and nature.
